Dieser Artikel bezieht sich auf die Intel-basierten tragbaren Computer von Apple, die im Februar 2006 oder später hergestellt wurden.

Apple MacBookPro: Akku kalibrieren mit SMC Reset

SMC Reset:

- Book ausschalten
- Akku rausnehmen
- Netzteil abstecken
- Einschalter für mindestens 5 Sekunden festhalten
- Einschalter loslassen
- Akku rein
- Netzteil dran
- Book einschalten

Danach PRAM Set:

Alt-Apfel-P-R beim Neustart des Mac solange festhalten, bis der Startton (Dong) dreimal zu hören war.

Dann Kalibrieren:

- Netzteil anschließen
- ohne Unterbrechung auf 100% aufladen
- mindestens weitere 2 Stunden das Netzteil dran lassen
- alle Energiesparoptionen ausschalten
- Netzteil abstecken
- ganz leerlaufen lassen, bis es in den Safe Sleep geht (Akkuwarnung ignorieren)
- min. 2 (besser 5) Stunden leer, ohne Netzteil dran, stehen lassen
- Netzteil anschließen
- ohne Unterbrechung auf 100% aufladen
- mindestens weitere 2 Stunden das Netzteil dran lassen

Evtl. auch mehrfach hintereinander machen !
